Girl's night in....

Tonight I am babysitting for my friend amanda's baby. She's so cute and chubby and just a good baby! Hope I still think the same thing at 2 am when she needs to be fed haha.

her brother was in my class when he was 4 months old and I use to watch him on weekends all the time.

here's a picture of them. The little guy behind her is her brother.

have a good weekend!

UPDATE: she woke up at 2 and was up for the day at 5. geeez. now she's content playing on the floor with the toys i brought out. maybe i'll snap a picture or two.

i'm gonna.....

fall over! i'm so exhausted from this week that i can hardly stand it. i'm literally worn out. those kids are challenging. i was SO happy when one set of twins went home today at 1130. then i remembered that the next set is going to be there at 2.

i have about 6 minutes left on my break...i'm finishing up laundry and then i have to go back. too bad i didn't nap on my break.

happy friday!

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

A MOTHER'S LOVE

There are times when only a Mother's love
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappointments
And calm all of our fears.

There are times when only a Mother's love
Can share the joy we feel
When something we've dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.

There are times when only a Mother's faith
Can help us on life's way
And inspire in us the confidence
We need from day to day.

For a Mother's heart and a Mother's faith
And a Mother's steadfast love
Were fashioned by the Angels
And sent from God above.

My life, summarized

So, I have to tell you all about my new job. I had taken a job at a private day care right after my nanny position was done. Well, I worked there for 2 days. Each day I came home and cried. Each day I went to work and cried. It was not a good place for me to be. So I quit. Which was dumb on my part. REALLY dumb, but I couldn't take it. So I went to a place where my friend Michele is the assistant director. They had an opening in the pre-k room. After an interview and 4 days of waiting, they offered me the job. I started this past Wednesday. I'll be the lead teacher in the pre-k room. in my new class, I have 3 (THREE!!!) sets of IDENTICAL twins, 2 autistic children and a handful of "problem" children (a.d.d., home issues, etc). I've come home totally drained each day so far. But I LOVE it!! I'm looking forward to learning all about the kids, learning their names (haha) and being their teacher. Next week is my official start. The girl who was in there before, is moving to MN. Her last day was today. So Monday I start officially being the lead teacher in the class!! Next week is "at the theater" and we're going to go see red grammar on Tuesday. I have no clue who red grammar is. lol. I'll have to do some research. Anyway, I'm very tired and need to go to bed. So that's what's new with me....Hope all is well!
